Autumn news
This Autumn I am working in all of my working roles; as a dancer, choreographer, pedagogue and doctoral researcher.
During the I am teaching in Theatrea Academy University of Arts Helsinki experimental anatomy and somatic movement to BA in Dance, movement practice based on my artistic research to MA in Choreography, presenting my doctoral research to MA in Dance Performance and teaching and facilitating as a responsible teacher in longer choreographic studies “Johdatus koreografiseen työskentelyyn” (10 op) in Uniarts Helsinki Open Campus.
I started practicing flamenco artist Rafaello Carrasco’s beautiful choreography Sola, which is trio she made 20 years ago to Finnish Flamenco group Canela ( Anna Palmio, Anna-Tuuli Saine, Erika Alajärvi). We are planning to perform this work in January 2026.
I am taking part to Be(a)ware butoh festival in Helsinki with adaptation of my solo work Tilan syvyys/Depth of space/ . The performance is on Sunday 19th October in Kellariteatteri. I am keeping a butoh workshop in festival as well Saturday 18th October at 12-14 PM in Zodiak Rehearsing Space C4 in Cable Factory. You are warmly welcome to join! You can find more info below:

I am part of researcher and harpsichordist Assi Karttunen’s research project’s artistic part Fluorscene- Syvän meren ääniä, where I am working in a role of choreographer, performer and movement teacher. The work group consists musicians, dance artists and light designer.
